I recently went to a wedding and reception for one of the girls I work with. It was absolutely gorgeous and so was the bride. It was one of the best wedding ceremonies I’ve been to in a long time. You would have thought that Cinderella and Prince Charming were actually the ones being married. Minus the wicked stepmother and ugly stepsisters of course. The bride even wore glass slippers with her beautiful ball gown wedding dress. The decorations at the church were absolutely exquisite. There were candles and red and white roses everywhere. They also had white tulle draped across each pew by the aisle and a long red carpet runner leading up to the altar. Any real princess would have been thrilled with the wedding ceremony they had planned. We were each given little baskets of pink and white rose petals to toss at the bride and groom as they walked down the aisle. I was really blown away when I spotted the lovely wedding carriage they had waiting outside. I did’nt think it could get much more fantastic than this. The reception was pretty spectacular too. Everywhere you looked there were exquisite décor and the tables sparkled with crystal and silver.
There were little storybook carriages that served as place card holders and picture frames placed at each setting. They also had beautiful castle candle holders on each reception table. They also had exceptional centerpieces. They were bowls made of crystal with three floating candles and had flowers surrounding it. Everything there was remarkable. Their choice of thank you gifts were exquisitely designed wedding wine favors. Many of the thank you gifts were wine bottle favors and others were wine glass wedding favor gifts. As a thank you gift I was given a wine stopper wedding favor. I received a gorgeous resin heart shaped bottle stopper favor and some of the guests were given adorable calla lily stoppers as wine favors. Giving a wedding wine favor as thank you gifts had never ocurred to me before. Everyone thought the wedding wine favors were really neat. I never imagined there could be so many unique styles for a bottle stopper before. One of my close friends received a lovely wine bottle wedding favor with an attractive red wine label on the front. Another guest showed us her wedding favor wine glasses that she was given as a thank you gift. The bride and groom really did a fantastic job in planning the reception. You could tell they put a lot of effort in planning this wedding and reception.
I’m suppose to be having a wedding of my own in just six more months. I hope I’m able to pull off as good a ceremony and reception as they did. I wanted to know where she found such an excellent décor and gifts for their wedding and reception. She gave me a link to an online wedding supply store that she said is one of the best. There were quite a few accessories at discount prices too. There were ideas and accessories for every theme imaginable. They did a fantastic job with their fantasy wedding and reception, but we plan on having our ceremony and reception on the beach. I have found plenty of options for wedding décor and thank you gifts for a beach themed reception and wedding. Everyone has received their invitations and we have chosen a spot for the ceremony at the beach. We just needed to get the accessories and beach themed decorations for the reception. I ordered what we needed for the reception and now have everything I could possibly want for a beautiful wedding and reception by the water. Our reception will be the talk of our friends and family.
